Restaurant Banana

Modern cuisine meets regional products in the Restaurant Banana. Head Chef Riccardo Tortora will pamper you with a choice selection of freshly prepared seasonal dishes. And if you are feeling peckish, we always have a small assortment of snacks on hand for you.

If you order in advance, it is even faster: Request the menu by e-mail, make your selection and tell us the time when you would like to eat. When you arrive at the restaurant, your meal will be served immediately.

Opening hours

Monday - Friday: from 11.45 a.m. to 1.45 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to 10.00 p.m (depending on course of business)
Saturday: from 6 p.m. to 10.00 p.m, Sunday: Resturant and Bar closed

Afternoon: coffee and cake

Bar & Lounge

From 7.30 a.m., we look forward to helping you get the day started with excellent coffee and delicious butter croissants.

During the day, we will pamper you with snacks, sandwiches and salads. In the afternoon, we supplement our culinary offerings with home-made cakes and ice cream, tasty smoothie. In the evening, we offer various hot and cold snacks in our bar.

Bring the day to a close with a draught beer, fine wines by the glass or an elegant cocktail.

Buffet breakfast

Every day, we serve a delicious breakfast to guests staying at the hotel and to external guests in our breakfast room on the ground floor. You will find a varied, balanced breakfast with locally sourced products. Egg dishes are prepared to order at our live-cooking station.

If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy your breakfast on our terrace.

Breakfast times

From 6.15 a.m. to 9.45 a.m. (on weekends: from 7.15 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.), start your day in chipper, balanced fashion for CHF 25.

*Depending on hotel occupancy, breakfast is only from 07.15 am to 10 am.

Sunday brunch

A fixture on the Winterthur brunch scene, we serve Sunday brunch between 11.00 a.m. and 2 p.m. – with no holds barred: antipasti, fresh Butterzopf (sweet braided bread), various rolls, salmon and meat specialities, desserts and even a chocolate fountain. The live-cooking station with made-to-order wok dishes is a special highlight every Sunday. Come and visit us!
