Hotel Banana City is an independent, privately owned hotel. The people of Winterthur affectionately call the curved building, which is over 200 metres long, “the banana” – hence the name of the hotel. The wide range of offerings and the central location make the hotel perfect for both corporate guests and leisure travellers.
The hotel is located five minutes by foot from the Winterthur main station. In addition, the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the Winterthur Old Town with its numerous shops, museums and restaurants are also easily reached by foot (approx. 10 minutes’ walk).
As a conference and seminar hotel with a variety of offerings, we focus on corporate guests who travel to the Winterthur/Zurich region for appointments or to hold meetings, workshops, further-training courses or conferences in our seminar area.
For leisure travellers, the central location with proximity to Zurich is ideal for city trips, shopping sprees or a family excursion.
